The Kilroy Coffee Klatch was started by a handful of Veterans looking for a place to share coffee, donuts, and stories with other Veterans. Since then Kilroy has grown into the largest monthly gathering of Veterans in Idaho! 

Our Kilroy Coffee Klatch meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. and is FREE to any and all veterans! The general public is also welcome; regular admission charges will apply. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. No RSVP required. We hope you will join us!

Our guest speaker will be Melitta Strandberg.

Melitta was born on September 3, 1944. Her parents escaped with their two children from Romania into Germany when the Russians invaded. The family settled near Berlin as WWII was raging. Melitta was born in a hospital in Berlin and kidnapped– she simply vanished. She will speak about her father being drafted into the German Army, being returned to her family, their escape to West Germany, and her desire to move to America.
