Herman Schaap

Subject:	Growing up in the Netherlands during WWII.
	Guest speaker Herman Schaap grew up in Haarlem, The Netherlands and graduated from high school in 1953. While studying for his BS degree in electronic engineering, he was drafted by the Dutch Army in 1955 where he served as a technical communication officer for NATO. Herman moved to the United States in 1965 to work as a research engineer for Motorola.
