| Diana Titus started singing as soon as she could talk, winning her first talent show when she was four years old. In junior high, Diana formed an all-girl band called The Crickets, and Diana bought her first drum set with money earned by working at a drive-in restaurant. In high school, Diana’s family moved to Idaho, where Diana graduated from Twin Falls High School with the same passion for music as notable Idaho classmate musicians; Mike Wendling, Carter Wilson and Muzzie Braun. Diana and Mike Wendling won a national audition for the United Service Organization (USO) to support America’s armed forces through music. The duo toured with the USO throughout Alaska during the harsh winter of 1968 before Mike was drafted into the Marines Corps. She continued performing with the USO throughout the world, including South Vietnam. |
