Kilroy Coffee Klatch: Idaho’s largest monthly gathering of veterans!
March 5 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
The Kilroy Coffee Klatch was started by a handful of Veterans looking for a place to share coffee, donuts, and stories with other Veterans. Since then Kilroy has grown into the largest monthly gathering of Veterans in Idaho!
Our Kilroy Coffee Klatch meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. and is FREE to any and all veterans! The general public is also welcome; regular admission charges will apply. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. No RSVP required. We hope you will join us!

March 5, 2024:
Guest speaker Joe Grubiak is a former Air Force pilot and the nephew of Charles Gubish, who fought with the 3rd Marine Division on Iwo Jima. Joe tells the story of Uncle Charles who, after many years, finally opened up about his experience fighting on Iwo Jima.
Martha MacCallum’s book Unknown Valor: A Story of Family, Courage, and Sacrifice from Pearl Harbor to Iwo Jima also depicts this tale as Charles served alongside Martha’s relative Harry Gray. Join us as we tell the story of Uncle Charlie and his fellow Marines of unknown valor.

Please note: Admission is only FREE for Veterans who attend the Kilroy Coffee Klatch. Admission will be charged to those who simply wish to visit the museum during that time (without participating in the Coffee Klatch).
