Ages 12-16

Come join us at the museum to build the venerable P-40 Warhawk scale model. Learn about the history of the P-40 and basics of scale modeling as you build a detailed model of our namesake and one of the most famous WWII aircraft that won the hearts of the Allies. Learn techniques that will be the basis for your continued adventures into scale modeling – all taught by veterans with over 30 years of model experience!

In this supervised workshop you will build a plastic scale model learning proper techniques using specialized tools. Once built, you will paint the model in historical colors and apply decals. All supplies are provided – including admission to the Museum! The cost of this workshop is $25. Limit to 20 participants. All participants are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch. Refrigeration and microwaves are available.
