DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 24th annual Warbird Roundup August 29 and 30!\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is the Warbird Roundup?\n\n\n\nThe Warbird Roundup is a two-day event featuring warbirds from across the country\, all gathered in one place\, where visitors can get up close and watch them fly! Our knowledgeable announcers educate the crowd about each warbird\, including its history\, interesting facts\, and importance to our country. \n\n\n\nVisitors also get access to the Warhawk Air Museum\, activities for adults and kids\, and food trucks. Please see the FAQ section below for parking details. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKim “KC” Campbell is a retired colonel who served in the U.S. Air Force for over 24 years as a fighter pilot and senior military leader. She has flown 1\,800 hours in the A-10 Warthog\, including over 100 combat missions protecting troops on the ground in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2003\, Kim was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism after successfully recovering her battle-damaged airplane after an intense close air support mission. These lots will fill up quickly!\n\n\n\nHandicap parking: please view the provided maps for details.\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Parking Options\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMission Aviation Fellowship at 112 N. Pilatus Lane. It is about a half mile walk to the museum. Visitors must stay out of the fenced off airport – please do not cut through! The shuttle does not run to or from this location \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaint AlphonsusParking is available in Saint Al’s overflow parking lots. Two shuttles will run from the parking lot to the Warhawk from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. \n\n\n\nSaint Alphonsus Overflow ParkingFrom Garrity Blvd\, turn on to N Jacob Alcott Way or N Sister Catherine Way. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNew 2026 Parking Instructions\n\n\n\n\n\nThere is no parking at the Warhawk Air Museum unless guests have purchased Flight Deck tickets. \n\n\n\nFlight Deck ticket holders receive on-site parking at the Warhawk Air Museum. Instructions will be emailed to each ticket purchaser prior to the event.   \n\n\n\nAll other ticket holders must park at the Ford Idaho Center at 16200 Idaho Center Blvd. \n\n\n\nSeveral air-conditioned shuttles will run continuously from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWeather\n\n\n\n\n\nFlying is weather permitting. \n\n\n\nExpect it to be hot! Wear sunscreen and a hat and stay hydrated. \n\n\n\nThere is no shade available while viewing the warbirds flying; however\, guests can find shade and chairs inside the museum and other designated areas. \n\n\n\nThere will be first aid stations available. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you can and can’t bring\n\n\n\n\n\nGuests are encouraged to bring camping chairs as outside seating is not provided.\n\n\n\nLimited seating is available inside the museum.  \n\n\n\nUmbrellas and shade tents are not permitted as they block the view for other guests. \n\n\n\nOutside food and drink are not permitted. There will be vendors available and water fountains in the museum. Baby formula\, etc.\, is permitted.  \n\n\n\n\n\nItem Donations\n\n\n\n\n\nNo item donations are accepted during events. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in donating items\, please reach out directly to our curation team at saragarcia@warhawkairmuseum.org for more information.\n\n\n\nThe curation team will not be available during the event.\n\n\n\n\n\nCan I purchase a ride?\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Warhawk Air Museum does not sell rides in warbirds. \n\n\n\nPlanes of Fame is offering P-51 Mustang rides during the weekend (not during the actual Warbird Roundup) All requirements\, payment\, and details are between the purchaser and the operating party. https://www.pofwarbirdrides.org/\n\n\n\nIf other visiting groups are offering rides\, please visit their booth at the Warbird Roundup for details. \n\n\n\n\n\nAre pets allowed?\n\n\n\n\nPets are not allowed\, except working dogs.  \n\n\n\n\nIs the museum open?\n\n\n\n\nYes!
