DESCRIPTION:Tickets Now Available! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for our 24th annual Warbird Roundup August 29 and 30!\n\n\n\nThe Warbird Roundup is a two-day event featuring warbirds from across the country\, all gathered in one place\, where visitors can get up close and watch them fly! Our knowledgeable announcers educate the crowd about each warbird\, including its history\, interesting facts\, and importance to our country. This year will also include an F-35 heritage flight! \n\n\n\nVisitors also get access to the Warhawk Air Museum\, activities for adults and kids\, and food trucks. Kids 10 and under are FREE with a paid adult. \n\n\n\nGuest speaker Kim “KC” Campbell is a retired USAF Colonel with 1\,800 hours in the A-10 Warthog\, including over 100 combat missions in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2003\, Kim was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism after successfully recovering her battle-damaged airplane after an intense close air support mission. \n\n\n\nGates open at 8:00 a.m. A flying schedule will be released closer to the event date.
